League Rules

Below are the rules of the Wilson Blood Bowl League.

In Game Rules

Rules used will be the Blood Bowl Competition Rules, also known as the CRB or LRB6: these can be found on Games Workshop's site here.
Unless otherwise noted (or changed later in the league), all rules will follow those laid down in the linked pdf.

League Format

The league will consist of 28 games, with each team playing the other seven teams once. Players are free to pick opponents*, but should play one game each week or more, so that the number of games each player has played at any point is roughly equal. The final game will be a derby against the team's rivals, detailed below:

Chaos Crusaders (Chaos Dwarves)   -   The Green Devils (Dwarves)
Skjøt i Ansiktet (Norse)   -   Bucking Fastards (Orcs)
The Fire Breathing Rubber Duckies (Elves)   -   Elvish, Vicious & Delicious (Wood Elves)
The Undead Fighting Mongooses (Khemri)   -   The Bol'Gor Bison (Chaos)

This will be the final game of the league season, and for the duration of the game, all rolls to Break Armour will have a +1 bonus. In addition, a win in this game will be worth 5 points, and a draw worth 2.

Once the league has finished, there will be a rest period  to let the teams recover (All Badly Hurt and Miss Next Game injuries will be removed), and then the teams will compete for the Wilson Cup in a knockout tournament.

*With the exception of their rival.

League Scoring

The league will be decided on a points basis, with the winner having the most points. Points will be awarded for games as follows:

   3 points for a win
   1 point for a draw
   0 points for a loss

In the event that two or more teams have the same number of points, rankings will be decided by Touchdown difference (TD for minus TD against). If the two teams are still even, then ranking will be decided by the number of injuries inflicted.

The winner of the league will take home the Wilson League Trophy. In addition, the teams that score the most touchdowns and inflict the most injuries will also receive prizes.

Tournament Scoring

The end of season cup will consist of three rounds of knockout games, with the winner of each match progressing to the next stage of the tournament.

In the event of a tie at the end of the game, extra time will be played as detailed in the rulebook.

The winner of the tournament will receive the Wilson Cup.

In the event of a second season being played, the same format will be run, with the teams continuing (if wished), or new TV1000 teams being played.
